Campus Changes

Just as the seasons change, the campus of West Virginia University is always changing. Improvements and enhancements to campus buildings will provide wonderful learning environments for our students. Woodburn and White halls are currently getting much-needed makeovers and touchups. The old Erickson Alumni Center is being made over into a new art museum for the College of Creative Arts. New athletic facilities are also taking shape. The new $22 million basketball practice facility will provide a state-of-the-art center for men's and women's basketball. And, the landscape is often changing in Morgantown. Some landmark buildings were recently torn down, including the old Chico Dairy on Beechurst Ave. and the McDonald's on University Ave. (only to be replaced by a new Golden Arches). We hope you enjoy this gallery. If you have some photos of campus -- then and now -- to share with us, we would love to post on this site. Please send photos to tecurtis@mail.wvu.edu
